The round Raya R9 is a perfect entry-level LED light for any photographer wanting to work with artificial light. It’s priced right and it’s easy to set up and use. With the optional batteries, it can go anywhere to add a kick of light for an outdoor interview or as the main light for still-life images.
The proof of what this light can do shines with the round catchlights centered in every single color gemstone bead.
The only gripe I have is not about the light. The receiver on the Impact tabletop light stand would be much better if it could rotate so a horizontally mounted light could be moved side to side.
